Set Skew manually
A positive skew means turning the LNB clockwise (seen from the LNB towards the dish!) And with a negative skew counterclockwise. This Skew can be set manually by slightly rotating the LNB in the mounting ring.
Note that the sticker with scale can be reversed, turning to the right is always positive and turning to the left is always negative.
- Loosen the 2 screws on the bottom of the LNB protective cover and remove the cover.
- Slightly loosen the 2 screws on the inside and turn the LNB to the correct position.
- Re-tighten the 2 screws and reattach the protective cover with the 2 screws on the bottom.
- Check Skew. The table below is only an aid, if the current LNB setting deviates more than 10, you have the chance that the system cannot find a satellite, or that your receiver cannot display all channels.
