The source of poor reception signal can have various causes. Below a number of possible causes, sorted by the most common ones.
- Obstacle (building, but also a tree) between the satellite and the system
- LNB skew not turned correctly (0, + 1 etc)
- Bad connection of a connector (manual fixed is sufficient)
- Cable damage inside or outside the system
- Tuner / receiver defective (also cabling between TV and receiver)
- LNB defective
Tips:
GPS Location:
Are you waiting for the system to find its GPS location? If the GPS symbol ∞ stops flashing in the window, the GPS location is found and the system displays the correct LNB position.
Only press start after the location has been found and after you have set the correct skew position.
Hinge:
Did you unfold the LNB arm completely until the hinge clicked?
